PowerPoint - Colours and Shapes

This digital text is divided into three different sections. Fist of all, you will have to drag and drop the colours and shapes to their correct place, next to the right word. While you are doing it, please try to memorise the spelling as you will need it for the next section. Secondly, on the next slide you will need to remember the words seen on the first slide in order to complete the gaps with the right spelling. And finally, there is a video about colours and shapes, listen carefully for about 2 minutes and try to focus on the pronunciation of each of the words as for the remaining of the video there is no sound and so it will be at your turn to say the words along with the images and wording.

  1. Hi Sandra, I think the activity on colours and shapes that you have created with PowerPoint is spot on! I like the idea of "dropping and dragging"; I think the kids would really like that! I suppose if they're not sure about the spelling in the next activity they can always check by looking at the first slide. Also, the you tube video is a great way of rounding off the whole activity. Regards
